The HelpYourselfStore is a division of Media Psychology Associates (MPA). MPA was founded by Michael S. Broder, Ph.D. in 1987. It publishes and produces a variety of self-help products and materials including The Therapist’s Assistant, The Help Yourself Series, and other widely-used audiotherapy programs. In addition, MPA conducts continuing education training programs for mental health professionals at all levels. MPA is approved by the American Psychological Association as a sponsor of continuing education workshops for psychologists and other mental health professionals. MPA also provides extensive consultation services to mental health professionals as well as a wide variety of clients, including executives, employee assistance programs, MCOs, law enforcement, educational, industrial, and governmental organizations.
