MoonChild Natural Soap began in 1996 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The original intent was to make a moisturizing soap just for our family. The high altitude & drying conditions in Wyoming were all the reason we needed to find moisturizing bath products that cleansed without drying. After reading about soap making and experimenting with formulas, we began making homemade soaps. We were so ecstatic over the results of the quality of the soaps that we began giving them to family and friends for gifts. At the urging of these wonderful people we soon offered our products in gift stores. In July 2003, we purchased an existing soap factory, & will be devoting 100% of our time bringing customers handmade soaps & natural bath products that are gentle, long lasting, have a rich creamy lather, & retain the natural glycerin produced in the soap making process.
