In 1972, Father Joseph C. Martin and Mrs. Mae Abraham started Kelly Productions, Inc.; a teaching organization dedicated to educating alcoholics and drug addicts, as well as their friends and families. The companys name came from one of Maes little silver poodles, named Kelly. Father Martin is a Sulpician Priest. Sulpicians are teachers who use spiritual direction, academic preparation, and pastoral supervision to instruct priests and future priests. It was only natural that Father and Mae choose, To Heal Through Teaching as their motto. Father Martin firmly believes that education on the disease of addiction can be a vital step in recovering from it. Father refers to the content of his material as, The Truth and he believes that the truth will set the alcoholic and addict free. Kelly Productions, Inc currently owns the copyrights to more than 30 titles available in book, CD and DVD formats. Kelly Productions mission is to extend Father Martins message of Truth globally and to make it available and affordable to all.
