All of our canes are constructed with combinations of highly figured select hardwoods including... but not limited to: cherry, maple, and black walnut... hand selected by designer Christopher Koontz. In addition to functioning as practical walking canes, the straight handled canes have proven to be very popular in several different self-defense/martial arts techniques. The handles of our canes are ergonomically shaped to fit the hand in order to center and focus the weight down along the shaft. Each cane includes a non-skid rubber tip. Functional art designs by artisan Christopher Koontz have been in use since 1977. His studio in Waterville, WA. has enjoyed a reputation for producing high quality craftsmanship for over twenty years.
