Cognitive Designs, Inc. (CDI) distributes training materials developed by creative thinkers and practitioners who have worked intensively with challenging, developmentally delayed and disordered children with severe learning problems. Only those carefully selected materials that have proven their effectiveness in both educational and clinical settings are offered to professionals and parents. Materials which meet this standard include those developed by clinical psychologist, Arnold Miller, Ph.D. and speech and language pathologist, Eileen Eller-Miller, M.A., CCC to implement the Miller Method R at the internationally respected Language and Cognitive Development Center (LCDC) of Boston. CDI is proud to offer the full range of materials which make up the Miller Method R. These materials cover a range: Some materials are for children with little or no language, awareness of themselves and others, or their surroundings; other materials are for children who have some ability to communicate but have been unable to make the transition to reading and writing.
