MediEquip boasts St. Louis only Mobility Center – an actual in-store oval track where clients can test-drive our wide selection of scooters, electric and manual wheelchairs. Accessibility with these power-operated vehicles can be practiced in our simulated bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Customers can also practice loading and unloading a power chair into a vehicle with any of our auto lifts. Several styles of ramps are on display to demonstrate step or van access. A porch lift demonstration unit is available for outside steps too steep to accommodate ramps. Indoor steps can be overcome through stairlifts, battery powered and manufactured by Bruno. Models are operational and available at all stores for you to try. MediEquip also proudly displays the widest variety of lift chairs in the St. Louis area. Our showroom contains over a dozen different styles of lift chairs at all times, from leading manufacturers such as Pride, Golden Technology, and Invacare. Other departments at MediEquip include compression hosiery, nutrition, orthopedics, relaxation, bathroom safety, wound care and incontinence. Our trained, professional staff is extremely knowledgeable on product usage and insurance billing. MediEquip is a participating provider for UHC, Medicare, and Missouri Medicaid.
